Description: Students investigate how plants adapt, respond to their environments, and depend on interconnected systems for survival. These ideas become a foundation for exploring personal strengths, resilience, supportive relationships, healthy environments, and balance. Students use plant observation, design, and hands-on horticultural experiences to consider how different conditions can either support or limit growth.
Horticultural Therapy Connection: mindful observation, problem solving, self-awareness, resilience, cooperation, environmental design, responsibility, and purposeful interaction with plants.
Duration: 90 min
Volunteers: TBD
Teacher Provides: Pencils, coloured pencils, handwashing station, tables and collaborative workspace
Take Home: Planted seed/seedling or kokedama, and a reflection journal.

Any payments already made will be transferred to the new booking date. Cancellations: Payments are non-refundable. If a booking is cancelled, the amount paid will be issued as a credit toward a future Tevagrow class, workshop, field trip, or eligible program. Credit Use: Credits may be applied to a future booking and are subject to availability. Short-Notice Changes: We understand that unexpected circumstances can happen. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find the best available option. Tevagrow Cancellations: If Tevagrow needs to cancel or reschedule a program, clients may transfer their booking to another available date or receive a full credit toward a future program. Our goal is to keep our policy flexible while allowing us to properly prepare materials, plants, and staffing for each program.
