Description: Students create their own Japanese kokedama while learning about plant biology, roots, soil, water, and the conditions plants need to grow and thrive. As students build their kokedama, they investigate how roots support and nourish the plant, how soil holds water and nutrients, and how light, moisture, air, and space influence plant health.
The hands-on experience is paired with guided reflection about personal growth and well-being. Students consider how plants depend on strong roots, appropriate resources, and a supportive environment and make age-appropriate connections to the people, habits, relationships, and environments that help them feel supported and grow.
Students finish by creating a personal care plan for their kokedama and identifying how they will recognize when their plants' needs are being met or when something needs to change.

We understand that plans can change and will always do our best to accommodate scheduling adjustments. Rescheduling: Bookings may be rescheduled with advance notice, subject to availability. Any payments already made will be transferred to the new booking date. Cancellations: Payments are non-refundable. If a booking is cancelled, the amount paid will be issued as a credit toward a future Tevagrow class, workshop, field trip, or eligible program. Credit Use: Credits may be applied to a future booking and are subject to availability. Short-Notice Changes: We understand that unexpected circumstances can happen. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find the best available option. Tevagrow Cancellations: If Tevagrow needs to cancel or reschedule a program, clients may transfer their booking to another available date or receive a full credit toward a future program. Our goal is to keep our policy flexible while allowing us to properly prepare materials, plants, and staffing for each program.
